More about Jane McDonald
Jane McDonald graduated from the Still Point Yoga Teachers' Training Program www.stillpointyogaretreat.com in September 2005 and has been offering her brand of gentle, yet challenging, flowing hatha yoga ever since.
With a background in ballet and modern dance, as well as theatre, Jane came to yoga in her fifties. Her clear instructions, experience and wisdom can also help students develop their own practice being mindful of physical injuries and/or other limitations. Now in her mid sixties, she continues to study yoga, attending workshops led by her first teachers, Marlene Duda and Glenn Mifsud and those led by internationally known yoga experts Lilias Folan, Cyndi Lee and Rodney Yee. She visits Kripalu (Massachusetts) and Toronto as often as she can to enhance her knowledge and appreciation of yoga. In March 2012, she travelled to Rishikesh in India and studied yoga with Vishvketu at the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram www.anandprakashashram.com
Jane and her husband, Allan Park, are key people involved with the Fallow Deer Reserve -- a sanctuary for rescued fallow deer bucks. From time to time, in good weather, she offers outdoor yoga classes at the Reserve in Florida, Ontario in northwest Kingston. Check the Reserve out at
